Composition: Magnesium Aspartate 140 mg (equivalentul a 11,8 mg Mg++),
Kalium Aspartate 158 mg (equivalent to 36,2 K+).
Pharmacological properties: Stimulates myocardium’s metabolism, increases
tolerance to digitalics, has antiarithmic effect.
Prescribed for: pectoral angina (as adjuvant), arrhythmias in
myocardium infarct and postinfarct conditions, arrhythmias provoked by the
intolerance to digitalics, digitalic intoxication. Cardiac rhythm disorders
(tahiarrhythmias, ventricular extrasystoles).
Contraindications: acute and chronic renal insufficiency.
Dosing: in coronary circulation affections - 2 Pillss 3 times
per day. The preventive and the maintenance dose - 1 Pill 3 times per day.
Overdosage: Cases of overdosage haven’t been reported.
Side effects: hypermagnesiumia symptoms with face reddening, thirst,
arterial hypertension, neuro-muscle block, respiratory inhibition, arrhythmias
and convulsions.
Drug interactions: antikaliuretic diuretics increase hyperpotassemia
risk.
Cautions: Panangin is not recommended with patients who have
rhythm disorderes associated with atrio-ventricular block.
